It was interesting also in this chapter to see what lengths Jacob went through to reconcile with Esau his brother. He also gave all that he gave willingly and didn’t want to hold it back even though it sounded like Esau would have let him. It shows how we was truly changed and wanted that reconciliation with his brother more than the goods and material possessions.
